Hardens after a while and hard to use

At the start it was easy to use and apply either by the stick itself or using my fingers and it worked nicely and colour was good. But after a month it hardens and it becomes a nightmare to apply using the stick, even when i tried to warm it with my finger it releases a sticky bronzer that is hard to apply, the only solution is to cut off the outer layer to get to soft bronzer so i can apply with it. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy it as the brozer becomes harder to use. I made sure to cover the bronzer every time I use it but that didn't stop it from hardening.
