For a long time, this has been my go-to product for digestion problems which I sometimes have, if I have eaten for example beans, dark bread or sugar candy. I take the capsule before suspicious food, or any big food, and my stomach is much better. The supplement contains a large selection of enzymes. My favorite is the alpha-galactosidase for beans, vegetables and other galacto-oligosaccharides, which produce gas in my intestines. I don't know exactly what all the other enzymes do, but I believe there are all the needed enzymes for all kinds of food. No additives, only veggie capsule. I have not found a better enzyme product yet. I recommend for anybody with excess gas formation or FODMAP diet.

My meals consist mainly of vegetables and protein, and besides the enzymes which help break down protein and carbs (that other digestive enzymes also have), this product also contains additional enzymes to help break down especially the fiber in vegetables. I feel the difference especially when consuming cruciferous vegetables (which I love), I don’t feel as bloated and gassy. Plus point is that these caps don’t contain ingredients of animal origin.

It's not like a pill that we take for stomach ache. Rather than that it is more used to support functions of large intestine. I hope for the people who hit weights will get benefits from it to absorb all the nutritions that you need especially protein and so on.

My husband has a very sensitive stomach and without Doctor's Best Digestive Enzymes, he wouldn't be able to eat anything without so much excessive gas that it would make life totally miserable. I don't need them as often as my husband, but if I find that my food is sticking in my stomach and causing me discomfort after eating something because I didn't take a pill before eating it, I can still take the pill and in a short time it will no longer hurt. We definitely wouldn't want to be without these pills.
